ABOUT THE CLIENT

Headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, USA, one of our clients was a global digital secure messaging systems company with its flourishing amount of data in the Azure Cloud. Their main objective of the company was to :

  • Inflate on other cloud providers for an hybrid scale of architecture catering to vivid client requirements thus restructuring the infrastructure for them right from Azure to AWS.
  • Reconstruct the data layer from Azure Cosmos DB to AWS DynamoDB.
  • Implement a firm App Security and reliability from AWS products collation with #Azure.
  • Implement End to End Deployment and Infrastructure Automation.

The client was looking for a partner who could provide them with an #AWS solution for their application in addition to ensuring #scalability, high availability and security. CloudifyOps due to its extensive experience and competency in cloud migration and implementation services, was partnered with.

This led to the clients looking for a solution that would improve their delivery, #governance as well as support their IT along lowering their cost of ownership.

THE SOLUTION

In order to effectively address the business needs of the clients, CloudifyOps team along with their Cloud Architects studied the requirements of the clients for the future implementation process. A customised solution around the AWS services was implemented while applying cloud deployment architecture best practices and business continuity principles. The following solution was proposed and implemented:

  • Re-architected the current architecture in Azure to AWS enabling a seamless developer and Ops experience.
  • Revamped the microservices Architecture with AWS EKS such that resources are effectively used thus resulting in cost reduction.
  • Implemented Data layer mirroring from Azure Cosmos DB to AWS DynamoDB leveraging AWS Data Mig Service
  • Implemented Automation of Infrastructure deployment and APP deployment with Terraform and Build Automation tool – CircleCI
  • Implemented Infrastructure , Application monitoring and alerting with AWS Elasticsearch and Cloudwatch enabling failsafe and resilient Architecture model
