CloudifyOps volunteers participated in a heartwarming Cook and Serve activity at Samarthanam Trust. The day began at the centralized kitchen in Hulimavu, where our team actively engaged in preparing the meal—cutting vegetables, frying vadas, making sweets, and more. By 11:30 AM, the food was ready, and the team moved to the school campus to serve lunch.
We were welcomed by Mr. Naveen, who gave us a tour of the facility, explaining how the infrastructure is tailored for children with disabilities. We also handed over 7 laptops to the IT department, which will be used for vocational training of children and young adults.
With over 650 children enrolled, the school runs on a 7:1 student-teacher ratio and offers specialized education, waste recycling initiatives, and even a cricket program for the visually impaired. We were inspired by their achievements and enjoyed a short performance by their music students.
The day concluded with a fulfilling lunch service to over 450 children, followed by lunch with the team. It was a truly humbling and proud moment for all of us at CloudifyOps.
