Tell us about your educational background and previous experiences.

I hold a degree in Computer Science Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources. My professional journey commenced with a brief tenure as a Process Advisor at Barclays. Following this, I took an extended career break to focus on my family. CloudifyOps marked my return to the workforce, making it a significant milestone in my career trajectory.

How did you hear about us and what interested you in joining our team?

My introduction to CloudifyOps came through our CEO, Vaithee, who is not just my husband’s ex-colleague but also a trusted mentor and a close family friend. I’m grateful to Vaithee for allowing me the opportunity to re-enter the professional sphere through CloudifyOps.

What do you love most about the Cloud and DevOps field?

The allure of the Cloud and DevOps domain lay in its uncharted territory for me upon joining CloudifyOps. The vast array of tools and technologies within this sphere served as a wellspring of continuous learning, which significantly bolstered my confidence and knowledge in conversations, particularly during the hiring process.

What is on your wish list for the next 12 months at CloudifyOps?

I aspire to reach a phase where I contribute substantially to the organization’s growth, fostering a positive impact within the company and among the individuals I collaborate with.

How do you motivate yourself to do the best for yourself and the organization

I perceive my current responsibilities not merely as personal choices but as part of a larger plan, a belief that instills a profound sense of dedication and inspires me to strive for excellence.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

My tenure with CloudifyOps over the past two years has been an enriching experience. I’ve gleaned valuable insights into the recruitment landscape, and honed my abilities in managing people and high-pressure situations, fostering adaptability and resilience. I credit much of this growth to the mentorship of Sarada, our Director of Operations, and Sandesh, Associate Director – Operations, who have been invaluable guides.

How has CloudifyOps helped you develop yourself personally (soft skills)?

Returning to work after a hiatus of almost nine years was a formidable challenge. CloudifyOps not only restored my professional confidence but also offered numerous opportunities to upskill and revitalize my soft skills.

What kinds of resources have you taken advantage of while on our team?

The extensive expertise of the existing HR team at CloudifyOps has been instrumental in nurturing my growth. The training, mentoring, and culture of openness within the organization have significantly contributed to my development.

What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team? Where have you made the biggest impact?

While successfully fulfilling critical requirements for DevOps and Cloud Engineers within tight deadlines has been rewarding, I believe there’s always more to learn and achieve. I look forward to the continuous opportunities CloudifyOps provides for personal and professional growth.

What is the one thing you learned in the last month related to your work?

I’ve come to understand the significance of patience in the realm of recruitment. Not every day brings the same outcomes, and learning to wait for the right opportunities is a crucial skill in this field.

What do you like about the learning/training initiatives at CloudifyOps?

CloudifyOps offers an expansive platform for learning and experimenting, provided one approaches it with enthusiasm and a willingness to engage. Even though I’m not in a Technology role, the organization appreciated and encouraged me when I expressed my desire to learn AWS Cloud.

What certification are you preparing for now? Or what was the most recent certification you obtained?

I’m currently preparing for the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
