Onam is celebrated as a harvest festival by Keralites. Pookalam, or a flower decoration, is the highlight of Onam festival. Done on a grand scale or a simple and small level, making the pookalam brings together loved ones and adds to the festive moments of conversation, fun and laughter.
Here in CloudifyOps, Onam was celebrated by ALL team mates, irrespective of the region we come from. It was overwhelming to see the involvement and effort taken by many of us. Some folks rushed out to buy flowers, while others took over the chalk and rulers to draw the design in the lobby. There were many helping hands to trim the flowers and a designated few planned everything meticulously. Staying back late at night and rushing to the office in the early hours the next day to finish this particular project was, for a change 🙂 , welcomed.
Initiated by a handful of people, this year’s pookalam was brilliantly executed by everyone in the office.
Wishing everyone on the occasion, our CEO, Vaithee said, “This was a great team effort. Initiated and managed end to end by our team, this brought out great team spirit.”
