What I love most about the Cloud and DevOps field is its problem-solving opportunities. The ability to automate processes and enhance the speed of deployment is incredibly satisfying. To establish growth for the organization and myself, I need to understand the long-term goals and focus on updating myself in our key service domains. Having clear short-term goals and achieving them keeps me motivated to do better continuously.
With a background in data science, I was new to DevOps and AWS. However, the comprehensive study materials helped me start my journey.
Initially, I faced challenges, but the support from my seniors was invaluable. Their guidance made the learning process engaging and rewarding. Within one and a half months, I transitioned to a permanent position as a DevOps intern. This marked a significant step in my professional growth, allowing me to dive deeper into the tools and technologies I had begun exploring.
After six months, I was promoted to an associate role, which came with increased responsibilities. This promotion validated my hard work and motivated me to continue expanding my skill set. Over the past 2.5 years, I have had the opportunity to explore a wide range of tools and technologies, which has been instrumental in my development as a DevOps engineer.
Reflecting on my journey, I am proud of my progress and grateful for the support and opportunities provided by the team. My experience here has laid a solid foundation for my career, and I am excited to continue growing and contributing to our projects.
